In this text, I present data on Brazilian production in scientifi c research, and discuss the need to make this research work internationally known. After that, I examine the diffi culties of internationalizing the results of research in Human and Social Sciences, and suggest policies that could help increase the publication, in international journals, of Brazilian works in those areas.Downloads
