Abstract

Postgraduate programs (PPG) in Brazil are submitted to a four-year evaluation by Capes and must send information annually through the Sucupira Platform, which is one of the items that make up this evaluation, at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar), despite of the programs have a general regulation, each one has its own internal regulation, resulting in the lack of communication between the programs in relation to the execution of internal tasks and, consequently, lack of standardization of processes and procedures. The present study aims to determine how the collection of this information is carried out by UFSCar PPGs to feed the Sucupira Platform, report the main difficulties faced and propose a standardization for the collection of information. For this, a qualitative research was developed, through exploratory method with bibliographic research and action research techniques. As a result, the research brings the mapping and analysis of the process for data collection for the Sucupira Platform. Thus, it presents a contribution to a critical process to the graduate programs of the university and Brazil.
