Characteristics and expectations of those enrolled in the selection process of the professional master´s course in Labor Management and Health Education

The training of health professionals faces a set of variables to ensure that the principles and guidelines that govern the National Unified Health System (SUS) are preserved and strengthened. The professional master’s degree has been presented as an alternative to the solution of the training and qualification of health professionals. This article discusses the topics proposed and some characteristics of the master candidates, such as gender, undergraduate field, federative unit and institution of origin, and title of the proposed work. Eighty point eight percent were female and a predominance of candidates belonged to the health professions and was from the southeast region. One notices that the candidates adhere to the proposal of the professional master’s program in Management Labor and Education in Health.Downloads
