Abstract

This is a review of the book Success Strategies From Women in STEM: A Portable Mentor, which is edited by researchers Peggy A. Pritchard and Christine S. Grant. These are female scientists who respectively serve as an educator at the University of Guelph and a professor of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at NC State University. The work was published in 2015 by Editora Elsevier, and addresses topics related to the career development of women working in the area Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM), focusing on careers that are developed within the universities, called academics.
