Formação de doutores no Brasil e no mundo: algumas comparações

This article aims to draw comparisons between doctoral education in Brazilian graduate courses and that offered in other countries, such as the USA, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Japan and South Korea. The study utilizes methods of statistical quantitative data analysis, and it makes qualitative interpretations focusing on public policy proposals formulated in Brazil and the other countries. The study concludes by affirming that by the end of this decade, Brazil will be equal to the other countries with respect to doctoral education.Downloads
