Abstract

This article focuses on a graduate program consortium involving the State University of Maring· and the State University of Londrina, relating the experience from the initial elaboration of the project until the implementation of programs in the two institutions. It discusses the obstacles faced and the successes achieved, especially with respect to the evaluation and development of the joint doctorate in Physics. Institutional cooperation is shown to be the key ingredient for the success of the overall process.
