This article describes the creation of the Graduate Program in Knowledge Engineering and Management (EGC) of the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC). The authors present the mechanisms that led to its consolidation and the results of the fi rst evaluation of the Program by the students. The evaluation revealed perceptions, criticisms, and suggestions from the students aimed at the improvement of the Program. It also allowed for the defi nition of priorities for bettering procedures and practices.Downloads
