Abstract

The year 2020 is marked by an epidemic called the New Coronavirus, which has changed drastically the behavior of humanity. From the social isolation measures adopted, damage occurs in the teaching and learning process of students and their families. The present work seeks to contextualize experiences of a Master’s student during the COVID-19 pandemic. The author experiences a mixture of feelings, as a master’s student, in an attempt to maintain normality and continue of the master’s degree, even in the face of the need for rapid replanning and uncertainties and fears arising from the pandemic. The University reinvented itself and offered access to tools that, even at a distance, promote knowledge. Experiencing a pandemic, despite the severity of the disease and the advanced organizational changes in this painful context, implies and requires coping and adaptation in institutional, personal and collective coexistence. In the formation of human beings, consider that, from the difficulties faced, real opportunities for transformation and innovation arise.
