O tema gênero e as autoras no campo editorial das Ciências Sociais no Brasil

This article conducts an exploratory and descriptive study on the presence of authors and the gender theme in the editorial field of Social Sciences in Brazil, based on a comparative analysis between journals with Qualis A1 and those inserted in the SciELO platform, in the last thirty years. It focuses on the search for the frequency and distribution of women authors as the only and first subscribers to their articles, as well as for the frequency of the gender theme, in a structural character for the understanding of social reality, in the course of their publication profiles. In particular, it focuses on the journal Sociedade e Estado in order to show how the significant female contribution in the criteria observed, including the majority of female editors at its head, contributed to the female presence in the authorship of articles and to the debate and the deepening of gender in the theoretical-conceptual panorama of the area, impacting the teaching and academic training and the research agenda in brazilian postgraduate studies.
