A expansão e as perspectivas da pós-graduação em Ecologia no Brasil

Este trabalho discute o crescimento e a expansão da pós-graduação em Ecologia no Brasil, especialmente neste início de milênio. A expansão tem-se dado em cinco eixos, e este artigo trata de cada um deles individualmente: os eixos geográfico, temático, das parcerias, do público-alvo e da excelência acadêmico-científica. Proponho que essa expansão se enquadra com precisão nos horizontes e metas apresentados no Plano Nacional de Pós-Graduação 2005- 2010. Por fim, discuto novas frentes de expansão nas quais a área precisa investir.
