For whom do we produce? Academic-scientific production about the Law and judicial decision under a systemic observation

This article presents an observation of the Law and Science Systems based on the relationship between what is scientifically communicated about Law and what is judged by the Court of Justice of Santa Catarina. The objective was to identify if there is a thematic correlation between what the Doctoral Programs in Law in Brazil communicate and what is judged in the court in order to verify the capacity of resonance of the academy in the dogmatics. From the systemic theory of Niklas Luhmann and contemporary reinterpretations, the conclusion reached is that there is a high thematic variation of the academic-scientific production and high repetition of the judgments allowing the mere reproduction of the Science System. Therefore, the academic-scientific production about Law is little capable of interference in judicial decisions.
