EXPERIENCE OF WORKING THE 2030 AGENDA AT SCHOOL

By definition, environmental education and sustainable development aim to disseminate knowledge and values, promoting changes in behavior, and developing skills necessary for participation, in a responsible and effective way, in the prevention and resolution of problems related to human life, the environment, and maintenance and/or restoration of the quality of the environment. Therefore, education for sustainable development is a subject that goes beyond humanity and the needs of all, as it generally affects all social strata. Among these contexts, the objective of this work was to instigate young high school students from the public school called Vila União, located in the municipality of Palmas - Tocantins, to understand that the promotion of urgent and continuous balance measures, between the natural environment of Palmas , referring to air, water and soil quality, could contribute to the implementation of the 2030 Agenda. The qualitative methodology applied to the development work through a playful game and evaluative meetings, made it possible to demonstrate the involvement and interest of these students in interacting and contributing for the implementation of the 2030 Agenda.
