This article is from a study conducted by the Agency UNEB Innovation at the University of the State of Bahia – UNEB about the Professional Masters in Management and Technology Applied to Education (GESTEC / UNEB). The study aims to discuss the relationship between innovation and the Professional Masters (MP), especially the GESTEC program, showing it to be the first Professional Masters in Education in Bahia. It provides an overview of the professional master’s degree in contemporary society, outlining the factors that led to its emergence. In addition, the text offers a contribution pertaining to the innovative potential of the MP by discussing the basic points of this type of master´s with respect to innovation in the educational setting.Downloads
