From environment complexity emerges the need for multidisciplinary and systemic approaches in related graduate programs, contrary to classical pedagogical disciplinary structures. This study aimed to evaluate the environmental perception of graduate students in Environmental Sciences at the Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP), Sorocaba campus, inserted in a constructivist pedagogical experience developed in two disciplines. The constructivist approach included a survey of the land use and occupation within the Jundiaí-Mirim watershed, in Jundiaí city, São Paulo state, Brazil. The unfolding of this survey was the basis for assessing the environmental perception of the graduate students. Despite different student backgrounds, there was a consensus in discussions about the major environmental problems in the watershed.
