This article aims to present the experiences related to the application of research and the transfer of results in the Mestrado em Estudos Fronteiriços (MEF), at the Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso do Sul, and the graduate program in Anthropology, of the Facultad de Filosofía y Letras, at the Universidad de Buenos Aires. We treat the research experience applied by teams of both graduate programs, as well as how the ways in which the partnership from the development of the Project "Fronteiras", supported by CAPES (Brazil) and SPU (Argentina ), provided improvements in the methodological tools used in the research activities. This article brings a series of reflections that make it possible to compare experiences acquired in both graduate programs. Firstly, the researchers of the UBA describe the experience with the indigenous peoples in border situations, addressing various problems that the community demands, seeking to contribute to building solutions. Afterwards, the work developed by the MEF researchers with institutions and agencies that work directly with immigrants in the border region is presented, comparatively considering research applications and the transfer of best results.Downloads
