The integration of teaching and researching and the later dissemination of results to society, in the graduate context, are challenges that emerge from the development of pedagogical approaches with an interdisciplinary character. The aim of this paper is to present a constructivist pedagogical experience, developed from case studies and involving the disciplines of the Graduate Program in Environmental Sciences at UNESP, in the city of Sorocaba, Brazil. This experience, carried out from 2013 to 2014, consisted of the development of discussions on how to approach the case studies, the collection of primary data, the preparation of bibliographic references, the communication and discussion with the community, and the forwarding of solutions to the government, thereby contributing to the formation of students and their engagement with regional environmental problems.Downloads
