The internationalization of the graduate study: objectives, forms and evaluation

This paper aims at discussing the evaluation of internationalization policies at the level of Brazilian graduate programs. The fi rst part presents the concept and purposes of the academic internationalization from the perspective of the Federal Constitution of 1998 and the “Lei de Diretrizes e Bases da Educação”. The second part analyses some forms of internationalization from the viewpoint of academic management. Finally, the objectives and forms analyzed in the paper are discussed with respect to their consequences for the offi cial evaluation of graduate programs in Brazil.Downloads
